Lowered trucks shouldn’t drive sketchy.
If your truck turns without touching the steering wheel specifically over dips, bumps, or rough roads that’s called bump steer. It’s a common problem on dropped, bagged, or spindle-lowered GMT800 trucks and it leads to vague steering, uneven tire wear, and worn-out tie rods.
Our Bump Steer Kit fixes the geometry where it matters. By correcting the outer tie-rod angle, this kit reduces unwanted toe change through suspension travel and brings back predictable steering and solid road feel whether you’re daily driving or pushing the truck hard.
If your outer tie rod sits at a steep angle instead of running close to parallel with the lower control arm, this kit is a necessity.

FAQ
What is bump steer?
Bump steer happens when suspension movement causes the wheels to steer on their own. It’s most noticeable on lowered trucks and makes the steering feel unpredictable over bumps.
Will this fix tire wear issues?
Yes. Correcting bump steer reduces unwanted toe changes, which helps prevent accelerated tire and outer tie-rod wear.
Is this for bagged or static-dropped trucks?
Both. This kit is designed to correct steering geometry on bagged, static-dropped, or spindle-lowered setups. Although if the truck has a shortened wheel base you will need shorter inner tie rods.
Does this require drilling?
Yes. A 5/8” drill bit is required to drill the spindle. This is not a bolt-on kit.
Do I need an alignment afterward?
Absolutely. A professional alignment is required after installation.
Can I daily drive this kit?
Yes, but it’s designed with performance in mind. It’s sold for off-road and track use only.
